i think it’s even more confusing since the WGA has the final word on how the writers are credited on screen… which lead sometime to sheer absurdities, like for 48 hrs, roger spottiswoode basically wrote the script but got no credit whereas Steven DeSouza the credited writer basically just did a rewrite for Eddie Murphy… for sure, it’s way simpler with writers/directors… oh, well!
