Image Quality

From what i’ve noticed, home-movie type set ups are easy to spot due to the image quality, which I think seems to be more…“clear”…then your big budget movies. SO what I was wondering, is does anybody know any effects or techniques to slightly lower the image quality so it’s more akin to a fil you’d see at the cinemas?

Yeah there is software that will do it for you, like magic bullet. you can go to their website and check out the filters you can add on. But the biggest thing you can do to help you dv look more like film is lighting. if you can get the lighting right then you can really play with it later. hope this was some help.

Thanks, I might have to grab myself a copy.
