I found a t-shirt stand at Devonshire Mall in my city. They do custom shirts, too. So I’m getting a copy of an IB poster and at the bottom I’m putting "MAURICE LEE IS A BASTERD. I’m taking out Brad Pitt’s picture and putting myself in there (posing with a bloody knife in one hand and a machine gun in the other). I’m wearing it for the first day the movie opens (and all the other 20 times I see it). It’s gonna rock like hell!! 8)

I’m going to go to the Astoria Kaufman theater in Queens, NY at around 8-9 pm opening night and see it with a sold out audience. The night I saw Death Proof there was one of the best movie theater experiences I’ve ever had. What an audience!
I’m going to watch it on You Tube as soon as someone uploads it.
I have no idea, the theater in my city doesn’t do Original versions, and I’m not gonna watch it dubbed in french the first time (and hopefully never will watch it with french dubbing). So I’m gonna have to find a way to go see it somewhere else, they have a pretty fucking huge screen in a town near mine and that’s probably gonna be my choice. I’m gonna watch it alone or with my girlfriend, (but I hope I’m gonna be alone the first time).
I’m not gonna wear weird clothes to show how big of a QT fan I am, but I’m probably gonna dress well like if it was a special occasion (well…it IS a special occasion :p)
Im going to be in Italy altho im german when it hits theatres, so ill watch it alone and wont understand anything. (i seriously hope i find a nondubbed IB anywhere in Italy, id drive multiple hours for that.) My friends… are HORRIBLE moviegoers. If they dont like the movie they talk and if they like it… they talk even more. Guess ill have to look like a wierdo and view it alone a second and third time when im back in germany.
Larry, I’m pretty sure you can find theaters that show films in original versions easily even in Italy. It can’t be that different from France and, honestly, MOST of the theaters here show movies in original versions.
And you’re so lucky to be in Italy, I’d really like to go there. Only to buy shoes and shirts!

Well, here in germany, theres no theatre playing original versions like next 100km to me, and im cerainly not living in a poor region. And my friends… my god… last friday we went to cinema, the trailer for IB was shown… i nearly had a heart attack because its the first time ever ive seen something from QT on the big screen… german trailer begins with the part where the basterds recruit hugo stieglitz, i understood the first sentence and then -blablalblabla from both sides, i honestly couldnt hear more. I wished i had a Hattori Hanzo sword with me in that moment.
i’ll be in vacation. i’ll go home the day of the release, will watch it twice, once alone in the morning and once at night with my gal, then back to vacation the next morning.
I’m gonna be there opening day with bells on
