The imperial system is archaic, outdated and mostly illogical. I like it for nostalgic reasons (because I am a very nostalgic person), but the Metric system is win. Australians still call it a Quarter Pounder though and heights tend to be measured in feet and inches, everything else is mostly Metric here.
