Funny video- Daniel Day-Lewis/Jack Nicholson/Robin Williams

Yeah. I don’t see why Kubrick was “friends” with him. Or was he? I’m not sure. All I know is he got Kubrick’s A.I. and he talks about him all the time when you see something about Kubrick. He is prob just a fanboy to Kubrick. Do you know?

Kubrick seemed to like him, I don’t know though. Someone (an amateur indepedent filmmaker) was making a film about Kubrick being held hostage by scientologists during the filming of Eyes Wide Shut. I don’t think it was ever completed…

ha ha, really? Tom Cruise maybe?

I would of been pissed if I was Kubrick, because wasn’t he going to start his “Aryan Papers” movie, but Spielberg slithered his movie S. List first. If only Kubrick’s movie came out first, maybe Spielberg wouldn’t of released either of his WWII themed films. Who am I kidding, he would of still done it, and wouldn’t of changed a thing with the fanboys.

Now I remember something like Kubrick saw Jurassic Park, and was amazed how technology evolved in film.

But Kubrick also criticized the naivety of Schindler’s List.

His quote was like, “The Holocaust was about 6 million Jews who died, Schindler’s List is about a 600 who lived.”

Yeah I didn’t say he liked it, I just said he was prob pissed because it seemed he wanted to do his own holocaust film but the “List” came out and he didn’t want to have the same themed film. Prob the 2nd movie he wanted to do, #1 being Napoleon. Man I wanted to see that for Kubrick’s sake, even though Barry Lyndon was prob a good alt. for him.

My opinions vary on Kubrick.

I don’t like talking about him.

It’s cool. To each his own. Wow we went from DDL, Nicholson, and Robin to Dick Cavett and Cass, to Spielberg and Kubrick. Almost touch all of the movie boundaries there.
