this is the one occasion where perhaps Reservoir Dogs might be the wrong choice!

I think maby Apocalypse Now. That’s always fun

Fun, fun… Apocalypse now and Reservoir Dogs are both movies which destroy the moral. So maybe Pulp Fiction is a good choice because you smile and you’re happy in front of the death…

#4

The Godfather

Taxi Driver

The Deer Hunter

are the essentials

#5

The Godfather

Mean Streets

Fudoh:The New Generation

View Askew 5

Rainy Dog

Leon

Goodfellas

The Killer

Hana Bi

Kids

Doa Trilogy

Reservoir Dogs

Raging Bull

to name a few

#6

Dead Man Walking

Dead Man’s Shoes

Better Off Dead

I know, I’m an asshole.

#7

1. Pulp Fiction-Dammit, it just makes you really, really happy.

2. Shaun of the Dead-Hoping for life on the other side…

3. Return of the King-In addition to being three hours long and thus extending your death sentence by as long, it really resonates the whole Grey Havens/Death thing.

#8

Kill Bill

#9

1) Kill Bill Vol.s 1 & 2 - So they know they’re getting off lightly compared to some people out there.

2) Gone With The Wind - the ‘death’ catchphrase: "Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn."

3) Titanic/Return of the King - here they get the choice. Either way, they’re both so long-winded that after tear-jerking moment #56462, they’ll be seeing death as something to look forward to.

#10

ooohhh…Tough one, ummm…I’d have to say…

Citizen Kane

The Godfather

The Good the Bad and the Ugly

I wish I could choose some more though!

#11

Dancer in the dark

Thelma and Louise

…etc… ???

Ikiru is actually the perfect film for that situation. Kurosawa made some great human interest films.

If my friend only had 1 more day to live, I think we would have just slightly more problems to worry about rather than sitting around trying to think of which movies we should watch.

And I don’t have any friends who don’t love movies. And I refuse to meet anyone who has never seen one movie in his entire life.

Nope. Nu-uh. Wouldn’t happen.
