I just think that there are so many types of Hollywood and Independent films, and all made for different reasons, that you can’t really categorize each side into one basic group. For instance, the people who are involved with making a specific Independent film might all be “phony fuckers”, while another group of people who are involved with making a Hollywood film might all be “art house fags.” I like to find out about what movies are showing next at my art house theaters near me because often those movies are more ballsy than Hollywood films and don’t just recycle the same old cliches in order to make a quick buck. While I also check the net to see what Hollywood films are coming up that look good, because there are lots of creative directors working in Hollywood today who actually have the budget to make exactly what kind of movie they like.
