Yeah, it’s a misprint, it was supposed to be DiVAS, but QT himself spells it that way, just so you can call them the “divas” but still have it stand for the Deadly Viper Assasination Squad

I’d say the role of Mr. Blonde/Budd are pretty damn hard roles to play. You have to evoke sympathy about a cold-blooded killer. Madsen just made some bad choices. I mean, look at Travolta - before QT gave him a second chance, nobody wanted to touch him, and now he’s one of the biggest actors in Hollywood. I guarentee the same’s gonna happen for Madsen. I understand that’s your personal POV, so would you mind mentioning a few actors you think are better?

first off, i thought madsen sounded like a bafoon on kill bill. all he did was mumble, and look unnatural with chew in his mouth. all he did was mutter a line, then make that look with his eyes that i think is permanetly stuck on his face. you know, the stupid puppy dog look he does. anybody can moap and get sympathy, you dont have to be a great actor for that. the only thing madsen has going for him is that he has a tough guy coolness to him.

Honestly, whether or not you like his acting, you have to admit he was the only guy for that role… as well as Mr. Blonde. I think he should have something in his contract that promises to only work with QT from now on. Apparently he’s in Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City… looks like it might not be bad.

Altough I love Black Mamba I like Oren Ishii a lot. She had a lot of power. First of all the whole Anime thing made me feel for her because of the way her parents died. (so sad) anyways and we got to follow along to see her seek her revenge. Then later on she assumes power over the tokyo underground. Such Power. Too bad she died, but she was messing with a very pissed off Mamma.
