I can’t wait for this! It looks amazing. It looks like the scariest one since Night of the Living Dead.
The film will also be covered in the next issue of Fangoria.
I don’t want to know anything about it! I just want to see the film next month without any spoilers - all I know is that these characters are trying to make a horror film and then all these dead people start coming back to life - the surprise element is basically what its all about. Imagine if everyone knew that Ben was going to die in Night Of The Living Dead…

this is definitely the first good zombie movie to come out since land. I just got the fangoria in the mail about a week ago haven’t had time to read it yet though.
I strongly suggest you don’t read it. They had some spoilers for RE: Extinction when I read a past issue!

What kind of camera and battery will the characters exactly be using? I want one of those, I’d be able to film Once Upon A Time In America without even re-charging the battery once.
If that’s a jab taken at Diary you can watch the trailer and see for yourself. The battery dies at some point, but I imagine they must have chargers and extra batteries. Common sense.

Yeah, the battery situation is a bit silly. Especially since the sequel is supposed to
take place directly after this one. It makes me think the whole movie is gonna be us
watching some film school kids filming each other while they try to find places to plug in
and steal DV tapes.
It also kinda worries me that all the marketing is being aimed at the myspace/facebook crowd.

I think it’s gonna get a full release. I wouldn’t expect any theaters to have it showing on more
than one screen though.
