The first one: That’s my favourite scene in the movie (which doesn’t automatically mean it should include my favourite shot, though). I love how everything is set (positioned) there. The traffic on the background, the parked cars, the camera height. Just everything. And it works even better in the film when you can hear the traffic (and no music).
The second one: much for the same reasons, how the objects (yeah, I just called women objects ;D) are set, and the distances. I also think there’s quite a bit of Leone in there… And I like Mary Elizabeth Winstead 
I don’t know if the JP pop culture influences in her character are intentional but i appreciate it nevertheless.
Now I’d like to see other people’s favourite shots. And don’t give me 50 screencaps but only 1-3. I want people to make their mind about what they consider the very best. Or if there’s just some random shot that you’d like to bring up that’s okay, too. But no 50 caps, there’s no point in that.
