Total classic 70s Grindhouse type ending in the tradition of badass female revenge films like Foxy Brown, They Call Her One Eye and I Spit On Your Grave.
If the Death Proof car was Mike’s phallic symbol, they metaphorically castrated him just like Foxy and Jennifer Hills did physically to the bad guys.
