I think if Death Proof had have had more likeable actors in the role such as Tracie Thoms, Kurt Russell and Michael Parks, I’d have cared more about Grindhouse. At least in Planet Terror, you can sip over Rose fuckface McGowan and enjoy the performances of Michael Beign, Josh Brolin, Marley Shelton and Jeff Fahey.
I know QT probably used unlikeable actors so we don’t care much when they die, but the sort of cast he used looked like something of out of Final Destination 6.
