It’s interesting that all the post-Cannes reviews so far (about 20) have been positive, except one (calling it “insensitive”, duh), a lot of them naming it his best since Jackie Brown. Is the new cut that better or do the critics hate long movies at Cannes because they take away their precious partying time?
Anyway, I’m glad that all the reviews mention that the dialogue is great cause I’ve had some worries after Death Proof and even Kill Bill to some extent (though I love those movies) that Quentin lost the snap in his writing, but it looks like he’s back on the track…
