The bottom line here is that this film is not going to be a spaghetti western no matter what the nationality or intentions of the filmmakers is.
Spaghetti Westerns were from a specific period in the 20th Century (the 60s-70s). They were A) made by Italian producers/writers/directors. B) They usually starred Italian/European actors. C) They were mostly shot in Spain.
If this film is related to them at all, it will be the Coens take on the spaghetti westerns. It might not even be inspired by them for all we know.
Not even QT can make a genuine Spaghetti Western, he can do his own take on them, thats it. I bet if he DOES ever do a Western, it will be inspired by alot of Western film directors/styles, not just the Italians.
