Has anyone got anymore clues about this?

Is that smoke in the pic that Bad Max posted? Or a blur of some sort of object?
Yeah, that’s the big secret. This movie is actually a Lost spinn-off. They all get off
the island only to realize they brought the smoke monster with them.
Nah, I put it into Paint Shop and brightened it but it doesn’t really help. Loooks kinda
like your typical giant reptile monster to me though.

It supposedly titled ‘‘Furious’’
No, that’s just what the teaser poster had on it. There was another that said
Monstrous, and I think a third version that said nothing. It was’nt a title, I think
it was just describing the monster.
^ Thanks for looking at the pic closer. I don’t have Paint Shop right now.
LOL at Lost comment. That is the first thing I DON’T want it to be.
I would like to see a new monster, but also wouldn’t mind a remake of something. As long as it is as good as the hype is right now, which would be hard to do.
I just read this over at AICN sounds like it is a reptile like monster.
CLOVERFIELD Madness Resumes!! Plot Structure Rumors!! Monster Rumors!! Hear JJsaurus Roar!!
And if you haven’t heard about this, if you wait 6 minutes at 1-18-08.com you will hear it roar. The roar sounds to me if you combine a whale with a lion. lol.

Yeah, it sounds pretty cool. Unique but still has that “monster movie sound” to it.
I don’t know if I like the idea of “mini monsters” or the idea that the monster
carries a disease with it, but I guess it’s too early to say if those rumours are even
true.
Its the sequel to the great Godzilla film with Matthew Broderick!!
From that photo is does look like a giant monster picking a person up.
I would like to see a sea creautre of some sort. Not just the plain ol’ Alien monster from space stuff.
Maybe it’s this guy.
I hate this gay build up mystery shit, I don’t give a fuck if its the rock monster from the Neverending Story. The guys a fucking hack! They have a damn promotional picture with a broken statue of Liberty, HOW FUCKING ORIGINAL. I swear I just saw the same fucking thing for that dragon movie thats coming out not to mention RE Apocalypse.
Here’s the new trailer. Confirms the title is indeed Cloverfield.

Wow Fiddler’s Green!
I know the secret:
ATTACK OF THE 50 FT…
ROSIE O’DONNELL
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
They shot this on digital? The visuals look surprisingly good. I thought every Hollywood film nowadays would look as ugly as Die Hard 4.
Probably doesn’t matter, though. Seem like they’ve overdone the documentary style. And the cgi sucks obviously.
I don’t know I think the CGI looked pretty decent. I do agree though that the hand
held camera work seems way over done, but I also think that’s just the way the trailer
was edited. They don’t want us to see anything too clearly yet. I kind of like that. I hope
they don’t show the monster at all in previews and we have to wait until like 20-30 minutes
into the movie to see it. I think King Kong would have been a much more effective movie
if they hadn’t shown so much of Kong in the trailers.
The Statue of Liberty losing it’s head and only it’s head seems incredibly silly to me too. I
guess they’re trying to give us an idea of how big the thing is, but it just doesn’t make
sense to me. I also don’t get why they were so hush hush on the title of the film only to
reveal it’s been Cloverfield all along. I think the date would have been a more effective title
in going after the realism angle. I also hate how all movie monsters seem to sound the same.
The first five minutes: 5 mins of Cloverfield!
The acting is kinda over the top and the video is just a tiny widget, but I can’t
deny that this thing looks pretty fuckin’ intense. I’ll buy a ticket.
its fucken amazing, the suspense is like nothing else, defintley worth buying a ticket and the monster isn’t what anyone will expect it to be. Beware if you suffer from motion sickness prob not a good idea to watch
I saw it this morning and thought it over in the track your picture topic… id like to find some pictures or some real concept art of the parasites…
I just saw it, and I just wanted to say, if you’re interested in seeing it, see in now in the theatre (if it’s released where you are of course). It’s entertaining, nothing amazing, but if you’re looking for just some tense, thoughtless fun, go see it, and see it on the big screen. I can’t imagine watching it on a television, it’s a definitely a theatre movie.
Also, don’t avoid it simply because you get motion sickness. I get REALLY bad motion sickness if I ever look the words on a sign, let alone try to read a book or the paper, and I was fine. I got a little dizzy, but I just closed my eyes for a few seconds when this happened, and I was good to go.
I didnt feel motion sickness while watching the movie but when i came out i felt really sick… i thought it was just because i hadnt eaten enough but now that i think about it, it might have been a little motion sickness… which i used to get really bad… When i was a kid projectile vomiting in cars was something that happened from time to time… i dont mean exorcist bad i mean Guest House Paradiso bad… :-[
