Casino is just Goodfellas goes to Las Vegas. I love Casino, just watched it last week again, but it will always be second to Goodfellas in my opinion. It employs a lot the same structures and it starts to appear a little gimmicky…plus I think some of the voice-over is hammy. Still one hell of a powerful movie though.
