Let’s make Butch a little more interesting then. What do you think of giving him a hidden character like The Grim Reaper for instance?
1)The watch is very important for Butch, according to Captain Koons it’s his birthright. Without his watch Butch is not the man he used to be, just like The Reaper hasn’t any clue when it’s time to take someones life that’s why he always carries an hourglass. Butch wasn’t aware he killed Floyd 'cause he wasn’t wearing his gold watch…
2)The Reaper wears a monks cape, Butch’s yellow outfit - minutes before his fight against Floyd - looks very simmilar, he doesn’t wear the hood over his head, but have a close look when Butch is walking out of the room: the hood is definitely there.
3)The Reaper usually uses a scythe. Of all the leathal weapons in the pawn shop Butch chooses the samurai sword. Compare the shape of that sword’s blade and a scythe. See what I mean?
