Is that confirmed that she was wearing Budd’s boots? Wasn’t she wearing those same boots before he shot her?

I was watching the burial scene last night and no doubt Budd put his boots on the bride.

What are you talking about? You can see they are both wearing cowboy boots when they’re at Budd’s trailer.
Obviously it was her knife she pulled out of her boots.
In the script she buys those cherry-red boots and digs up the buried straight razor before her vengeance quest begins.

That’s what I thought. Why would he out his boots on her? It sounded so absurd.

Yeah, I think bobbylight’s just refusing to believe anything other than his cracked up theory about Budd putting his boots on the Bride. Why would he go to that hassle, couldn’t he just drop the knife in the coffin instead of giving away a pair of boots…or maybe even slip a chainsaw in there for her instead.
I paused it right when she was blasted out of the camper by the shotgun, her boots looked diffirent to me.

I just watched it. They never go in close enough to really see her shows. But Kinick is right about the boots being in the script as well as the knife.
Ah, I didnt know of tho boots being in the script.
He didn’t straight out let Beatrix go free because then she would have came back and murdered him like the Vernita and O-Ren.
No…the only “almost good villain” is Bill.
- That quote is his ONLY redeemable line (which he actually doesn’t end saying, “but, then again so does she”).
We have NO idea WHAT exact things are taught AND over an unspecified amount of time. (Pai Mei shows her HIM punching through the wood, instructs her to…do it so her arm owned by him is strong).
ADDING to the concept that she was supposed to die with lowering air and light AND an insanely intense Rock Salt injury and his explanation to Elle regarding the “R”s, that he, or even WE, are NEVER taught HOW to punch through it by him demonstrating a technique so she chooses the method, which we can appreciate the intelligence behind the fingers to fist punch that will later be the ONLY way to begin to get out.
The WHOLE set of villains are disbanded at the point we see them…Budd is at the bar, Vernita AND Bill have children and seem to be retired or homemakers, Elle is dating Bill (and we see her get a call from Budd, greeting him as if it’s Bill - shows lack of knowledge of numbers saved on phone), Bill seems to be a Single dad so he has to be there for BB, and we learn that O-Ren was backed by Bill to become the Head of the Council, which obviously happens before she’s confronted by Beatrix.
Budd also does NOT try to give the sword up to stop the killing of anyone…as far as we know, he sells it RIGHT after Bill asks about it and calls it priceless and seems unhappy with his job and very lazy as a person so a million dollars is what he sells it for TO another killer because he’s got a pathetic job and then he’d never have to work there or anywhere ever again.
He’s a dumb and less than great villain.
