Damn those are some awesome shots! The first real exciting bunch of this thing in action… the soldier on sniper patrol behind the car and other “busy” scenes of soldiers on the move. I hope those are actual shots being filmed for the real movie rather than being a little off-shoot for something else in the movie or whatever. Nothing I specifically pictured reading the script, but exciting nonetheless.

It won’t be a typical action war movie with epic battles that you wanted QT would make for you, and you know it, so get over it please. I think you’ve established what you expected and you are disappointed. It’s fine, we understood it.

Have you ever watched any war films? The majority of them are based around soldiers talking to each other. Then theres some action scenes that break up the talking here and there.
Also this isnt a war film about regular army soldiers, theyre a special unit, more like spies/assassins. So of course they arent going to be constantly shooting guns and throwing grenades.
Man Pete, you make it sound like it’s gonna be a Tarantino movie.
Yeah! Who woulda thought it would be about interesting characters, great dialogue, music and direction?
Excellent to have the first look on the set. We don’t see much but it’s still very exciting to watch this short clip. Thanks a lot for sharing it 
In the 3rd act, there should be a scene where one of the Basterds shoots one bullet and kills 3 Nazis at once with it. It should be accompanied by some kick ass music.
Then they should totally build motorcycles that shoot rockets, ala Delta Force.
I hope QT reads this and takes notes.
