thanks for this - thought he was a bit harsh on paul dano there i really like his performance in There Will be blood…

Interesting. I thought Paul Dano more than held his own. And when he didn’t hold his own it was appropriate.

Ditto. Great to hear he put up Unbreakable.

Sometimes I forget how good Unbreakable was, until I see it again. I think it was that directors BEST film to date. M. Knight Shamalamadingdong, as QT would say. LOL.
Also, the guys over at The Totally Rad Show did an amazing review of “Basterds”. They completely go geek over the flick and now have me wanting to see it even more. Jeff goes so far as to say it’s better than “Pulp”.
I’ve just watched two interviews of Quentin Tarantino on Letterman.
One from yesterday and one from 97’.
I noticed that at both endings of the interviews Quentin says:“Good to be back”. Cool!!!
Another thing, I dont know if it actually means something but it still happened is that in 97’ interview after Quentin said :" good to be back", Letterman said:" It’s good to have you back" and now he didn’t…
It still seems like Letterman really liked IB from his reaction after they watched the little clip from the film.

Was he already on JK? I thought it was Eli last week. But I’ll watch to see anyway. No prob.

August 19th, 2009
Elvis hosts writer-director-producer Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction; Kill Bill, Volumes 1 and 2’ Reservoir Dogs) to talk about his latest feature, Inglourious Basterds, starring Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz and Melanie Laurent.
This link is about the Cinemapocalypse film festival that happened last week in Austin Texas. QT was there and presented Basterds along with some other films that influenced IB
