Oh god, looking at those pictures makes me appreciate QT all the more. He’s really made his own signature with the camera. Like the shot in the trailer with Shosanna in the cinema’s balcony that heavily resembles that of Beatrix at the House Of Blue Leaves. I think it’s like an over the shoulder track shot, usually used from a confined space that ultimately reveals a very wide environment where something big is about to go down.
By the way did anyone else enjoy that laugh Shosanna does – (look at my avatar), it’s such a great sexy laugh. Damn I bet she has a great fuck scream.

Am I crazy or did I hear the “You just say bingo” gag in a different film? I could swear I did, since I don’t think I read far enough into the script to see it in written form but it jumped out at me as weirdly familiar when i first heard it in the trailer. Any film buffs out there who can give me a clue? The memory retrieval portion of my brain is as reliable as summer rains.

I swear I just watched something with that gag in it too, but I can’t for the life of me think of what it was. I’m in the same boat. Frustrating isn’t it? Um, I’ve been watching nothing but Kung Fu flicks for like two weeks. Could it have been in a Kung Fu flick?

As it did happen with the “Is a Basterd” posters, the international poster is getting versions dedicated to each individual character with one of its -badly translated in French:)- dialogues. I saw in the RER and the Paris metro the ones dedicated to Brad, Diane and Mélanie.

Thats exactly what its about. He cant redo Pulp Fiction or do a Pulp Fiction II. Hes just making his movies as usual. People need to just accept that and enjoy them for what they are.
