A question to most Hitchcock fans - don’t you think that Hitch’s latest films like Family Plot or Frenzy are so sad to watch? I feel like he’s totally lost in the newer times, his era completely gone, sets, those splendid actors he always had, those old techniques. Like he just couldn’t adjust… He tried, of course, but it’s very sad to watch. If I had not known it was Hitch who made them, I would never guess, ever. Very untypical for a director of such greatness
