2010 - Track Your Films

Under Siege - 3/5

This movie takes me back! One of those childhood tapes you watch again and again until it breaks in the player. For all it’s faults I love this thing.

Step Up 3D 8,5/10

Amazing movie. Loved it. We need more movies like this. So cool!

Resident Evil Afterlife: 3D 7/10

A typical 7/10. Good, but not very good. Entertaining, but nothing too special.

Wild Style 6/10 watched it in a cinema with director Q&A, got an autograph, and talked with him for a while.

raw filmmaking, some cool scenes. liked it enough.

Why, Ken? Why? 3D dance movie? I never thought you’d stoop that low.

LOL. I am always looking for new campy, cheesy or over-the-top movie experiences. I haven’t seen part 1 and 2, so i went in expecting a stupid cringefest of stupidity. Instead I found a really well made, really entertaining movie, that is predictable yet a lot of fun. There was even a scene that was a throwback to the golden age of Hollywood musicals, i loved it. gonna check out the first 2 parts now.

Well 2011 in movies is opening like shit:

Paul Thomas Anderson’s “The Master” film seems to be “postponed indefinitely” (aka no studio has the balls to pick it up!).

FUCK FUCK FUCK! There isn’t a god damn fucking movie coming out this year or next year that needs to be made more than this one. Fuck every other piece of shit coming out, all that money being put down a fucking drain. Christ on the cross Kathy…

Brewster McCloud - 4.5/5

I liked it more before I found out about The Master. Ordell is in a bad mood.

I’m still looking forward to Black Swan. I really like Aronofsky. And Somewhere cause I just rewatched Lost in Translation.

I really hope I like the movie the first time I see it. It took from the day I The Wrestler in 2008 till earlier this year to even remotely come close to liking it.

Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore - 4/5

Not perfect, but still really fucking good. The 70s were amazing.

I never quite like Alice. It’s not bad but I don’t feel much of the Scorsese touch… A bit too classic maybe.

Star Trek (2009)- 4.5/5

I was like a kid in a candy store… I was pleasantly shocked how good this movie was, which is why I waited soo long to see it. It made me want to go watch some old T.V. episodes. Sure, the time/space has been done if not over done, but… this time it was done well. The whole Spock, Uhura thing… looking forwards to that. LOVED the actor who played Bones.

^ Hezz YEH! Star Trek was AMAZING! My 5th favourite film of the entire decade!

The American 6/10

What a disappointment. not a bad movie by any means, but i expected so much more from this. mediocre movie.

Wall Street 5/10

Meh. What’s so interesting about this film? nothign.

Stargate 6/10

Mildly entertaining cookie cutter hollywood sci fi flick.

damn i need to see a good movie again…

The entire time I was thinking that this is the movie he makes when he has a budget for the first time. But your right, this is Scorsese as assignment director. Maybe I liked it so much because it reminded me of the relationship I had with my mom.

MULHOLLAND DRIVE (rewatch) 5/5

David Lynch

I fucking love this movie.
