yeah I’ve stumbled over this too on imdb, but it’s been there a long time and I doubt that they are actually gonna make it.
@ Hung Fist: Pray for Death was not part of the series, not even produced or associated with the Cannon Group.

Tedious, offensive, stupid, boring. What a fuckin waste of time. I wish that Spider (the waiter kid) would have shot Joe Pesci instead of the other way around, that Henry’s wife would have shot him in the face like he deserved. Scorsese seems to be a one trick pony, with all his gangster bullshit all the time. This was even worse than The Retarded. Even though Matt fuckin Damon was in that one. The only thing real good about Goodfellas was the actors. What a waste of talent.
I can’t say I totally agree with the rating. I though Children of Men lacked depth. It only really started working when the storyline kicked off, which is never a good sign. But, technically well done (thanfully contrast not blown the hell) and very enjoyable. 7/10 despite the problems.

oh yeah, storywise it really isn’t that great. It just catched me off guard with all the awesome long takes (people talk like there’s only one, but there are many) and it’s just so well made. I don’t think it lacked depth, it just followed the main character, that’s all. I was happy that it didn’t cram lots of statements about politics, morals, and whatnot into it. (Which is what they traditionally do in Hollywood when they make a “future society” kinda movie) Just a simple story of a man living in an awful time.
