Cross of Iron 8/10
Love how it’s made, Peckinpah is a GREAT director, but I need to have real bad guys, and a realistic war movie doesn’t have real bad guys, which makes it hard for me to enjoy watching people getting shot, even if Peckinpah is at his people-blown-up-dying-in-slow-motion best here. I can’t root for anybody.

I can root here, lol! How come nobody told me there was an awesome movie like this? Huh? Making me think The Thing is the best thing Carpenter ever did?? yeah right- i don’t think so because THIS IS.
