Probably because it would be mostly Asian films if it were up to people like us. At least it has Ikiru. 
Is it me or is there a french bias. I’m not a big fan of french movies, being American, I don’t have a good enough attention span. Not to mention Premier magazine gives every new one a good review. Demonlover was a turd!
