Dialogues in QT's soundtracks

Post by oifnolykous » Tue Jun 17, 2003 11:56 pm

Tarantino's OST RULE! I hear all 3 of them every single day!
But the dialogues his OST have, don't get me wrong they are big time cool but I don't get the reason having them. I think they are for commercial reasons(except from the dialogues in pulp's ost who work as an intro to songs)
But generrally I think this thing makes QT's OSTs even more cool than they are!
Have you ever came across with other OST with dialogues in it? Or is it a QT pioneering?

Well, from the few OST's I have; "Natural Born Killers" also has snippets of dialogue in it. That one was produced by Trent Reznor.

I'd put money on American Graffiti being the first.
