very true first time i watched it i didn't notice it its was only after hearing that QT directed that scene that i noticed it standing out

Just watched Sin City for about the 3rd time today - I just love it. It is such a great film.

I didn't like Jessica Alba much in this film - but I am not a big fan of her on the whole. Good too see Brittany Murphy break away from those chick flick roles (her acting hasn't gotten much better but it is an improvement.) Jaime King (Goldie/Wendy) Rosario Dawson (Gail) and Devon Aoki (Miho) were brilliant. Alexis Bledel was also very good - I am not usually a fan of her work. Benicio Del Toro, Bruce Willis, Clive Owen and Nick Stahl were all brilliant. Elijah Wood was amazing as was the fabulous Mickey Rourke.

That's a bold statement but maybe a true one. Hanzo was a sword maker. We know nothing about his kombat skills. Maybe when/if the animated prequels come out we will find out more...

ptthhh miho unarmed couldn’t even take on Kevin in a fight - she’s skilled with weapons that’s it, she’s obviously got no physical strength and i doubt she’s faster or more agile then Kevin - Kevin practically doges bullets and does gymnastics on marvs head, plus Kevin’s use of stealth probably makes him the most dangerous character in the film, Im a kevin fan, the only way Miho dominates him is in the fact that id screw miho and i wouldnt screw kevin  :P
vadid wrote: miho would kick pai mei's ass but not the bride im not sure about hanzo tho
Thats bull shit she doesnt seem much more skilled then the bride - though i never saw the bride block a gun barrel -  and she hasnt got the fighting ability and that makes a difference - thinking about the eye gouge/ five palm - why am i pointing this out when you said she couldnt beat the bride its because the bride couldnt touch pai mei so what makes you think miho could

Hahahhahahahahah, this discussion is so retarded. But then again you lot are little kids so it's unfair of me to expect a more intellectual debate.

Then I guess that noone will bitch about it if I talk off topic in every thread. I mean, I am just a little kid, so you can't expect to much from me.

This conversation is off the topic anyway..  :P  and yeah its kinda stupid

Oh and Pink Floyd this is what passes for an intellectual debate around here as far as i have seen, but if you actually want to contribute to the erudition then feel free however don’t expect anyone to care enough to respond in kind..

Talking off topic in every thread, and having a childish discussion are totally different. But then again, I wouldn't expect a little kid to............. oh forget it

This is NOT what passes of as an intellectual debate around here, especially not to the majority of the members (I hope). And its THE Pink Floyd to you, thank you  >:(

I’m very sorry The Pink Floyd, but when you consider that out of the 1795 members over 500 have never posted and at least 443 are very really inactive then it becomes clear that the majority of members don’t care/ cant be bothered contributing to what you would consider to be an intellectual debate especially when you exclude the members who are younger than 19 and thus childish according to you. But then again as of yet you have failed to contribute/ begin such a debate, so why don’t you?.. im very sure wed all appreciate your impute if its not limited  to criticizing members who are younger than you. But in all seriousness since you made such a point of patronizing us why don’t you shut me up and begin " an intellectual debate " on sin city?

(that would get us back on topic, also its not my intention to be rude and im sorry if it sounds that way )

Don't bother arguing with Mr. Pink about intelligent posts. 90 percent of his are focused on arguing with Buck. Speaking of back on topic you guys should all revote on the best segment, I'm sure many of you have changed you minds, I did.

best segment? Why not just creat a topic about which is the best novel, i just dont natrually compare segments in the film cause its a single film, even though there seperate storys there made to flow as a film.. well kinda...  :-\

i would put my money on kevin because if you understand the movie well enough kevin is portrayed one of the most powerful characters in the movie well above miho's standards, and besides their skills arent even the same miho=weapons kevon=hand to hand fighting but i happen to be a marv fan nothings better than a good old fasion ass whoopin.
