There were many stand out scenes for me. Heres some;

When you find out why he taped his mouth shut. I thought it was to make him shutup hahahah.
The car flying off the road.
The scene with the Japanese girl and the car.
Brittany Murphys bad acting hahahahahhaha.

I was amazed by Tarantino's scene. I don't understand how even though eh didn't write or design it it still stuck out. I thought when Clive Started actually saying the narration, that was brilliant. Wow bad grammar....

I think Ray Liotta would have been better that Willis. Don't get me wrong I love Willis but his voice in the movie is annoying, but Liotta's voice is great and he was perfect in Narc.

I already read reviews and they say it's great, but the 23 extra minutes is actually 10 and a half extra minutes, this because the other minutes are the credit's for each separate story. That suck's :'(

Also the Graphic Novel is smaller than the original paperback and a bit difficult to read for people with glasses, but i don't use glasses.

sin city has got to be my favourite not QT film tho he did direct a past in the big fat kill i just think its visual stunning. Rodriguez did really well and it looks like an actual living graphic novel were's as other graphic novel films are good sin city is in a legue of its own

Yeah, as much as I liked the scene (it being classic Quentin) it really didn't fit in at all. This made it look like the worst scene in the film. I got to agree, I thought QT's part was the worst bit in the film. It was a mess, and I don't think you should have QT do a scene in a film just because he is QT. He should only be used if you think he is the best guy for the job, or you think he can bring something new in a scene where something new is needed. A waste of QT's talent if you ask me. Either Rodriguez was in the wrong to hire him or QT was in the wrong for not following the style and flow of the movie.

Well of course there are oppsing views to everything. I'm a huge QT and RR fan, but that scene was really quite shit. Also, I've heard and read from lots of people (from their objective point of view) that the scene stood out for the wrong reasons.

If you put the scene in the context of the film, which you should be doing anyway, and look at it objectively, you will see that it spoils the flow and style of the movie. THat scene almost kind of takes you back from the movie going experience. I was quite disappointed after watching the 'famous QT scene', it wasn't at all as good as peope made it out to be.

If you see it as a QT segment separate from the film, then yeah it's enjoyable and classic Quentin. It only lasted 5 minutes anyway. But to each his own.

I'm not saying I didn't like the writing or directing. I just didn't think it fit into the movie. It stood out.

Most people I know didn't think it stood out. You did only because you watched the film in  a certain frame of mind that the average moviegoer doesn't. I watched it like you but loved it and felt it worked fine within the film. Nothing wrong with standing out now and then.
