I would imagine so, but I don’t think Tarantino went out of his way to put it in just to pay homage. By the way that website is quite funny, especially when one of your friends gets randomly kicked in the face.

Of course he would. Tarantino likes to pay as much homage as he can. He goes out of his way for everything he puts in his movies.
