just around one or two weeks ago a friend of mine and i borrowed all three from dusk till dawn dvds, that was already a mistake because it was late at night and i was shit tired and just wanted to go home by the time the first fdtd ended, i was so pissed off the way they all of trilogies resembled each otheres plots......it is all about a bunch of naive americans that meet up with gangsters in this slut club in mexico and fight a bunch of vampires. the first one was cool ass though, but although im not an expert of rodriges movies, he is only a second rate film maker without tarantino and lump somes of money to spend on hoes and explotions.

i would say that the fdtd with that stupid western  was the wackest of all, but on the other hand because i was very tired this influenced my judgment-  if i remember some of the scenes i watched, it was quite good actually-like when they left that female wanaby outlaw hang and shitt it was quite cool, she shouldve died. or when that american couple walks through the hotel with all that fvcking going on-id like to check in to such a one.

and although texas bloodmoney was a disappointment some parts were still kinda fvnny-like when those guys just gett into this motel room and watch porn, i dont kinow why but that was fvnny-or when that muscular fvcking huge guy was fvcking this little itty bitty hoe-i dunno why but that was kinda fvnny-i think quientin still saved rodrigues dissapointing movie making talents even though he wasnt always credited for it. but all in all those would fdtd would all be good films to watch for entertainment, there not master pieces but there fvn.

From dusk till dawn one is the greatest vampire film of all time, but part two was pretty cool too, I enjoyed it.

This film wasn't whatit could have been. The story makes no sense at all ofcourse, but where in part one it was very fun, here it's just silly. Sometimes this movie looks good, sometimes it's funny, sometimes the acting is ok., sometimes the dialogue is good, something the movie ís scary, but most of the time this movie just sucks. And the effects also sucked. The bats looked like the ones in the '33 Dracula version. To bad.

4/10

This is the first time i have ever heard the opinion that hangmans daughter is better, its just part 1 as a western, at least blood money brings something new and is shot well.

I still cant see how most people on this forum are fans of the grindhouse genre of movie yet dislike part 2. Its like a 1980's/ 70s grindhouse movie made in the 90s. No its not the greatest, but taken that the film is going to be bad in the first place, should make it enjoyable. I mean what where you expecting from a straight to video sequel to a great film? Its good for what it was. This was a solid B movie. Plot sucked, yes! but like most B movies the plots do suck but they are still enjoyable and fun to watch.

I thought Texas Blood Money had one of the worst directing efforts I have ever seen. It has so many weird camera placements which Scott Spiegel probably thought were cool but just ended up lame. Like the camera placed on the rotating fan in the beginning or the camera in the ice cooler - lame. It had some funny moments though, like when the gangsters were talking about porn. And Robert Patrick was cool as hell in it. Other than that, I prefer Hangman's Daughter. The first part of the movie is cool as fuck and Michael Parks is brilliant as always.

Yea, i found them crazy angles cool, they were probably influenced by raimi because raimi trained him. On the other hand intruder had some pretty crazy shots like that too, and is a masterpeice of the slasher genre.

that's why I still think part 3 was the best because PJ Pesce did an awesome spaghetti western homage....
part 2 was just too experimental even for a trashy straigh to video camp fun

Duane Whitaker is a good actor but he often get parts in movies were his talent don't get that it's worth. But he did indeed do very well in Eddie Presley and Pulp Fiction.
