Something I never knew

I was watching this interview (link below) of QT on the Opie and Anthony show, and one of the guys asks if it was Butch who keyed Vince’s car, and QT says it was. Now that i think about it, it does make sence, and I thought it was pretty interesting that I never made the connection before. And sorry if there was a topic already made for this…

Hey got his car keyed by Butch, and then got mechine gunned in the belly by Butch… QT should put Butch in a another movie and have him be killed.

it’s in the script. those lazy journalists should do their share of reading once in a while.

It is? I don’t remember reading that in the script. Could you pull a quote? I do recall it mentioning that Vincent parks his car next to Butch’s when he arrives at Marsellus’s club but I don’t remember it actually stating that he keys it…but rather it being left hanging like it is in the movie.

But, either way, I thought that was quite cool of them to bring that up in that interview (to my knowledge Quentin doesn’t usually talk about these little details, so to see them bring it up was refreshing and then for him to respond to it - probably glad it wasn’t the usual fanboy questions of “What’s in the briefcase?” etc.)…other than the mundane questions and typical questions we’ve heard over the years. It’s not their job to know every detail or read each script to every movie they discuss. And you could tell they obviously knew a lot more than the average journalists and interviewers.

EXT. SALLY LeROY’S - DAY 11.

Sally LeRoy’s is a large topless bat by LAX that Marsellus

owns.

Vincent’s classic Malibu WHIPS into the near empty parking lot

and parks next to a white Honda Civic.

Vince knocks on the door. The front entrance is unlocked,

revealing the Dapper Dan fellow on the inside: ENGLISH DAVE.

Dave isn’t really English, he’s a young black man from Baldwin

Park, who has run a few clubs for Marsellus, including Sally

LeRoy’s.

Scene #11. From there you can draw the conclusion. Vince parks next to Butch. When Butch got there the Malibu was not there. Therefore it was Vince. Simple.
