THE Bellboy

this is FOUR ROOMS related:

you all know that the 4th segment of Four Rooms has various references to Jerry Lewis in "The Bellboy". Four Rooms is in fact an entire reference to that old flick.

WELL there's gonna be a Jackie Chan remake of "The Bellboy".

Jerry Lewis is brilliant, imho the best comedian alive. I especially adore his early flicks with the great singer and entertainer Dean Martin (also remember the Tarantino hint in "Pulp Fiction", the Martin-Lewis milkshake ;) ).

"The Bellboy" is an average Lewis film. It´s good, but there are better ones out there. Though, I love the "Four Room" reference. Roth just got it. A good old time Jerry Lewis, addicted to modern chaos. Great !

The Bellboy is a great film. I still gotta take The Nutty Professor as my favorite Jery Lewis film. Also can't forget Cinderfella.

AND Jerry Lewis' performance in King of Comedy got him the best reviews of his career!

Yes, another great Scorsese.

My favourite Lewis film has to be "Scared Stiff" with Dino. But I like them all. In "The Family Jewels" he plays 7 (!) roles at once :).

Totally forgot about The Family Jewels! Great one! And another favorite: The Geisha Boy. Jerry Lewis in Japan! :)

A long time ago, I saw "The Delicate Delinquent". I nearly laughed my head off:D. But until now, I never got to enjoy this great Lewis flick again.

I have never seen a Jerry Lewis movie, but I bought "The Bellboy" on DVD because I love Four Rooms so much and QT sorta recomended it in the film.

I still have to watch it someday.
