The sword/Hanzo Steel topic!

Isn’t there apparently some store or company you can actually buy the sword Uma uses in Kill Bill? Hell, i’d be willing to pay upto 600 bucks to get one! Must come with a wooden storage rack! Anyone know where/how to get one?

EDIT: I changed the name of the topic, so we can put every sword discussion inn this one. cps

don’t know about that - i am sure with enough searching u could find a replica

I wouldn’t know what the price for a reasonable quality sword would be, but I know some moderate quality ones can be bought for about $50, something you could “play” around with.

This advertisement suggests its a real company, I just haven’t been able to find their website.

If you do happen to locate it, I’d be appreciative if you’d contact me, and likewise with myself.

I’m positive thats just a marketing gimmick for Kill Bill.

But I would not be surprised if Hanzo replicas will be made…they did this for Lord of the Rings and Blade and such…so why not Kill Bill ????? Maybe even have a certificate of authenticity signed by Sonny Chiba…that’d be cool…cool as fuck

BTW, does anyone know why there’s a fuckign dog in that Hanzo Steel poster?

I mean, what the fuck does a DOG have to do with anything? :-/

It’s probably a reservoir dog

the first one that appears

hook up a link

The reason I think that is authentic is because, Hattori Hanzo in the movie is a little ol’ guy making swords, he would not be advertising. That ad looks real because it just seems modern/authentic style. There is a dog for no reason, a chick with a sword…?

It just seems real. I think it is.

check out how much a authentic made katana costs

thats just one example, there are some that are in the 1-2k range that look decent

IT’s not FUCKING real…it’s an ad gimmick for KILL BILL. HATORRI HANZO IS NOT REAL. HE’S A MOVIE CHARACTER!!!

THATS WHY THE AD FOR KILL BILL IS ON THE DAME RETARDED POSTER

Hattori Hanzo was actually real, he was an assassin. The character was cleverly named after him, don’t shout please, and I still say there is a company called Hanzo that makes "steel"

The reason Kill Bill is on the poster is called cross-market advertisment you see it everywhere, if you are gonna supply your goods to a movie your gonna tell people.

Me wants a replica of Bill Sword.

Whoa, so you can just order a samurai sword and have it delievered to your door? That's fucking cool. Now, all I gotta do is make a list of all the people who wronged me...

Burrrrr… I’m not sure if y’all have seen this before but I found a set of promotional ads for Hanzo Steel similiar to Amunaten-Osibasbis’.

http://www.bigspaceship.com/killbill/

They’re even advertising the Pussy Wagon (Pussy Industries). LMAO.

pussification? lmao

Hear, hear… this place is selling the KB replica at US$799.98

I don’t know how ‘authentic’ it is, cause they’re rather vague about showing the product shot.

That is cool. I don’t really care how authentic it is, I think that I am going to order it just to have it. I’m going to contact the people and ask questions, like if it has the lioness symbol on the blade, and if it has the Hattori Hanzo symbol on the scabbard. If it has those two things, I think that I’ll get it.

The agent for Paul Chen (hanwai swords) will neither confirm nor deny that the weapons came from his shop and that they will be putting out a line of weapons soon. Stay tuned!
