I know stuff about this has been posted b4 but i think this is new info from a pretty credible source

http://dvd.ign.com/articles/504/504628p1.html

I read it on IMDB too.

I, too, read it on IMDB.

I was hoping this wouldn’t happen.

Me too. Fuck, man, doesn’t QT have anything else to do? I’m not going to say I’m sick of Kill Bill, but this is a bit much. For shame Mr. Tarantino, for shame.

true i dont want to get overkill on the kill bill thing

maybe a straight to DVD event

I know he loves the Kung-Fu homage deal, but it’s done. He should let it go and simply move on to Inglorious Bastards, and then who knows, but NOT kill bill 3.

he’ll lose interest once he gets started in something

he’s not as motivated as we all think

…cause he’s a stoner

i dunno… the idea of more kill bill makes me shit my ass because i love the movie so much.

its very iffy… but its not like tarantino is handing it off to someone like david fincher (alien 3). he would still be doing it, which means it’s highly unlikely he would fuck it up.

I read this in The sun yestarday-

‘More Kills on the Bill

I’ve got some good new for Kill Bill fans who can’t get enough of the story- Quentin Trantino is planning two more sequels.

The director says he wants to add further instalments of the gory thriller- which stars Uma Thurman, by providing more background on some of the characters. He said: "I’ve been thinking of revisiting the story in a couple of ways"

Kill Bill: volume two opens in cinemas here on April 23.’

He should just do his Pulp Fiction prequel anime style.

He won’t have to do as much for an anime as he would for a live action movie. He could write a script and let Project I.G make the movie, while he keeps an eye over the project or something.

He doesn’t have to shoot/draw it or shit like that.

he always mentioned that he would tell the background stories of bill and the others in anime short films for TV or something.

i wouldnt be surprised if we got to see that next year on HBO or something

In my opinion it’s just another rumor.

but I think it’s much more real than the rumors about the Pulp Fiction prequel.

Who’s to say what he’ll do next? I personally think he’ll do one or two of the Inglorious Bastards movies, and then he’ll move onto something else. If he does do Kill Bill, I think it won’t be for a decade or so.

damn i didnt notice the first 20 times reading, QT actually sais something about “15 years from now”…

so lets bury all the “volume 3” rumors right now

Don’t know if these details are already posted but here goes anyway:

Tarantino contemplates another Kill Bill film 15 years down the road

at 14:48 on April 8, 2004, EST.

TORONTO (CP) - Kill Bill Volume 2 may not be the end of Quentin Tarantino’s revenge tale.

“I do have an idea that maybe 15 years from now, doing the last chapter in the story,” says the 41-year-old director during a press junket in Los Angeles. “But it wouldn’t star the Bride, it would star Nikki, Vernita’s daughter, and she would be the star of it and she would be 20 years old,” he says.

In Volume 1, the Bride, played by Uma Thurman, kills fellow Deadly Vipers Assassination Squad member Vernita (Vivica A. Fox) in front of her young daughter Nikki.

“It would be Nikki going out to get revenge on the Bride. Uma wouldn’t be the star, she’d kind of be the bad guy, because the little girl deserves her revenge,” says Tarantino, adding that he might shoot some footage in the next couple years, so he can “stick them in a vault until I need them.”

Tarantino is also planning on doing a Japanese anime feature about the origins of Bill, who is played by David Carradine in the film.

“How Bill became Bill, and deal with his three godfathers - Esteban Vihaio, Hattori Hanzo and Pei Mei.”

its something the press likes, so here we go again:

SOUNDS AWSOME! I think it would be cool as to see movie where Nikki wants revenge on Black Mumba. It would have to be split into two movies though, and contain a whole heap of refrences and stuff to other QT films. What would it be called? Obviously it can’t be called Kill Bill, lol maybe Kill Kiddo? Bash Bride? Beat Beatrix? lol, i dunno just some (not serious) suggestions.

Oh and i think it would kick ass to see an anime DVD with 9 or 10 short films about Kill Bill and the mythology, about the history of Bill and stuff. Animatrix style. They would need to be Narrated by Uma Thurman like ‘The Origin of O-Ren Ishii’ chapter in Kill Bill Vol.1.
