I'm all crime movie'd out myself. Ive seen so many diff kinds from film noir to the modern stuff. I love the genre, but unless QT really had some unique idea for another one, I'll pass on it. Id much rather see him try something diff. Maybe his southern moonshiner film or his slavery era film. Anything but another gangster movie.

I'd it if he made a Faster Pussycat Kill Kill remake, I love the original, but of course Quentin could make it better. I mean, goodlooking and badass babes, big scary men, grumpy old dads, car races in the middle of nowhere. Could be fucking great.

I dont know what he could really do to make it better other than some diff dialogue. The girls in it wouldnt be better guaranteed. Im against remakes of these kinds of films. I dont care if its QT or anyone else. No thanks! I hope he keeps doing original material and leaves remakes alone.

He should do BMX Bandits meet the Goonies next.

Wow, it's weird thinking about what he might do after Ib, as it almost kind of seems like IB is the be all and end all. He said in 2003/4 that he would only be making films for another 15 years. That's 2020 at the latest. He film output wasn't the greatest between RD and KB and so we thought we'd only get another 2 maybe 3 films in that future 15 years time span. However, he made another film in 2007 (earlier than a lot of us thought) and now he's talking about making his epic by 2009, so it seems there might be more films from him than what was originally (mostly humourously) speculated upon.

With regards to what I think might be cool for him to do, well as was already mentioned, he doesn't really stick to one genre, and intertwines multiple genres within one film. It's difficult to think of future QT work given his almost limited genre output thus far as well as my earlier point that in one film he often gives us so many different films. Despite this, I would like to see a variation on a prison film (The Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile and Escape from Alcatraz were brilliant), a secret agent film (shame his idea for Casino Royale was passed on) and also a character piece - a film generally about an individual or group of people (Mystic River, Shawshank, There Will Be Blood etc).

However, right now my mind is only on IB's frequency and anythign beyond that I'm not really thinkign about.

A prison movie would be great indeed. I'd like him to make a road movie too, something Monte Hellman-like, or a musical comedy since he's so in love with music, can make something interesting.

Secret agent film would be great too. Prison film, I think bastards actually would partly qualify there. You know how QT puts a bunch of subgenres into each of his films.

A QT musical = Not something Im too anxious to see. :)

Id like to see a dark twisted slapstick comedy. Perhaps revolved around a murder victim. Sorta like The Trouble with Harry.

How about a Massacre Mafia Style musical :D I'll be up for that!

There's many genres I would love to see QT do, how about a stranger in town movie? I would also love to see him do a monster movie like Tremors.

i really think this is just a rumor. recently, qt said on several occasion that he wants to do films that come entirely from him. no book adaptation anymore. hence, no remake, and especially no remake of films he considers masterpieces i assume ;D
