I know that all these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt and QT has the tendency of changing his mind every 5 seconds, but this news has been reported on several websites lately.
The Dutch movie looks like shit, though… But a teacher of mine did the lights and some of the animation for it!
QT is always “planning to make this or that film”.
It was funny, because I was at a pop culture expo and Weta workshop was there. One of the people in the audience asked, “James Cameron was said to be making a Gundam film and he apparently contacted Weta about doing it” or something like that. The Weta guy answered, “That’s the first I’ve ever heard of it”.
Or like he was going to do that mandarin film, the Jimi Hendrix film and now this Dutch horror movie.
I personally think the Dutch one is fake because think about the publicity its getting? One of the filmmakers or somebody who is involved with it sends and e-mail maybe to somebody who owns a film site, they tell them QT loved this movie and wants to redo it or something to that effect.
