Tarantino: 'You're wrong to drop Brosnan'

http://www.itv.com/news/index_1336697.html

Gotta agree, he’s not exactly too old! but I guess there introducing the new generation…

This is London Magazine

But Tarantino - who pledged to make “at least 15 more kick-ass films” - said he hoped to cast 51-year-old Brosnan in a film soon.

15 more? That’s just made my day

it was “15 years of films” if it was 15 films he would have to get going pronto…

Nope read the article again, it doesn’t say that.

I don’t see what the problem is. Takeshi Miike has made more than 60 films since 1990. The majority of which are pretty good, and at least a dozen that are brilliant…

never been a real fan of pierce Brosnan, they should have stuck with George Lazenby, I like On Her Majesty’s Secret Service almost as much as Goldfinger and Dr No

That is the first time in my life I have heard someone say they liked George Lazenby as Bond, congratulations.

Connery was the best bond, but Lazenby’s humanistic bond is my second favourite. I still think Lazenby could have made a great series.

I agree. George Lazenby is my 2nd Favourite too. I hated Roger Moore.

Visa versa here, Rogger Moore was my fav, while personelly I think Lazenby should have stuck with the ad’s

…I also quite liked the dude b4 Bronson, he was only in one or two movies, but he was quite good

Brosnan Back As Bond?

All bets are off about the new James Bond - it looks like Pierce Brosnan may be back as the suave super spy after all. According to Internet reports, Sony bosses want Brosnan to return as 007 in the next Bond film Casino Royale, and they’re keen for him to star in one more movie after that. A source tells website Darkhorizons.Com, “All the stuff we heard about Brosnan being out is just a ploy from both camps. The negotiations between Brosnan and Eon (Bond production company) came to an end because, in the last year, things were up in the air, thanks to all the organizational changes taking place. Brosnan/Eon camps are still going through the motions of bluffing each other: an echo of the old poker game that Cubby Broccoli (former Bond boss) went through with Roger Moore - Moore frequently announced that he wouldn’t be back. The mood around Sony is that Brosnan will be back. Hence, the reluctance of the filmmakers to come right out and announce that they have parted ways with Brosnan. Sony are not in a gambling mood. They could lose more with an unknown actor, or with an experienced but unpopular actor. They’re well aware that you just can’t place any actor in this role.”

He actually said carry on making films for another 15 more years. So he would probably only make another 2-3 films

Yeah, which really sucks… I thought he liked making movies. You think he would make more.

What is it with Pierce & Q?

BROSNAN: 'I’M TOO OLD TO PLAY BOND’

PIERCE BROSNAN has no plans to reprise his role as JAMES BOND, because he feels too old to play the suave superspy.

The 52-year-old Irish actor has ruled out a return, despite DAME JUDI DENCH, who plays spy chief M, assertion that he would be appearing in the forthcoming remake of CASINO ROYALE.

Brosnan says, "I’m too old at 52. A few years ago I would have said I could imagine playing James Bond in a more ferocious way.

"Like a sort of Quentin Tarantino character - but now, at 52, I am definitely too old."

British actor DANIEL CRAIG is favourite to follow in Brosnan’s footsteps to become the sixth Bond.
