Your Man QT did a hilarious monologue about Top Gun being a gay allegory back in 94 in the movie “sleep with me”.

Yeah, I remember that film. Tarantino was the best thing about it.

I also remember this interview with John Carpenter, where he talks about how he was offered Top Gun first and turned it down because of the all the “red tango niner” bullshit and because the script was slightly homosexual.
