Bronson is mentioned in the Kill Bill end credits, because he died a few weeks/months before the film was finished.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say Charles Bronson is Quentin Tarantino’s definite favourite actor. Just like he hasn’t got a definite favourite film, I’d assume he takes the same position regarding his favourite actor. Afterall, each have their own qualities!!





Apparently when Tarantino was in Australia doing Kill Bill press, some journalists asked him who his favorite Australian actor was. Without hesitation Tarantino named John Jarratt.

Those very actors he mentioned in that quote, he has also mentioned in many other interviews. It would appear that he is also a big Hackman fan. Also, QT is a huge Saxon fan. In addition to having him star in From Dusk Till Dawn, I have a feeling QT had something to do with his part in the Grave Danger episode of CSI.

So yes, Charles Bronson is one of QT’s favourite, going from the dialogue inserts to the Mr. Majestyk poster in Volume 2. But to say he is his favourite actor would be pushing it a little. QT shows love for everyone.
