Dr. Who in America

Post by roulette67 » Wed Apr 27, 2011 11:51 am

The BBC America cable channel has started showing the recent season of Dr. Who. I recorded it and just finished watching the show, excellent.

Then at the end, there's this short clip saying, "In memory of Elisabeth Sladen." Shit. Sarah Jane Smith, from the Tom Baker doctor years, died.

She died April 19th of this year and I'm a bit upset. I hate when people die who made me smile. I grew up with Dr. Who, it's a part of me. Kinda sad today. :-[

I was a bit skeptical of the new Doctor because of how amazing Tennant was. He surpassed my expectations ten-fold, he's really good.

I was the same way, it's really shaping up to be a stellar season.
