Red State

Not sure if this has been touched upon yet, but since I’m a big Kevin Smith fan, I thought I’d share the following. I was able to get myself into a UK distributor screening of Red State recently, and loved it. Michael Parks gives an acting clinic in the flick - and I thought this was really cool - Smith’s account of screening the film for QT:

Check out the trailer - I can’t recommend the film enough. I know that the way Kevin Smith has chosen to distribute the film in America is unorphodox. (It’s also getting an academy-qualifying run at Quentin’s New Beverley) Do you find Smith’s methods of attempting to redefine the theatrical exhibition process a good or a bad thing?

Did anyone else see this? What did you think?

no I havent seen that. Sounds interesting though.
