Finally a new film from Gregg Araki

who else is excited about his new film Kaboom

I know I am ;D

never heard of him.

From wikipedia: Gregg Araki (born December 17, 1959) is an American film director of independent and gay films. He is a seminal figure of the New Queer Cinema.

Araki is best known for The Doom Generation I suppose. I’ve seen the first twenty minutes of it, but couldn’t handle any more at the time. It was way over the top and not in a good way. Mysterious Skin looks like an interesting film from him though.

Are you kidding ? None of you, guys, know Araki ??

And yeah, he might have been over the top at the begining, he might have been part of the New Queer movement, THOUGH Araki can’t be reduced to that. And yeah, Mysterious Skin IS a masterpiece and I truely believe it.
