that august diel guy looks really weird, such a soft and feminin face… dunno…

Can’t see the bar, but…

NICE!

old news?

It’s what i felt when i heard that he is going to play Major Hellstrom…

I pictured Hellstrom as a more muscular, tall and older guy… kind of a white Manute (SC)

[/quote]Which one could that be ;D

And someone has to pee :stuck_out_tongue: (not me ^^)

This ones rhymes and the pun is intended

posted a picture of a scalped nazi on the frontpage

where can I see the picture bigger??

It used to be on belga, but I can’t find it anymore…?!

—Edit—

Got it! Some folder have a second page  :stuck_out_tongue:

go to <LINK_TEXT text=“http://picture.belga.be/belgapicture/ed … /coverage/”>http://picture.belga.be/belgapicture/editorial/all/coverage/</LINK_TEXT>, search for “inglo”,

choose the folder “INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS (16)” and there you go: 2nd page, pic #6

me neither

never seen a bigger version, the picture is taken from a distance

I guess that scalped nazi in picture has to be Sönke Möhring aka pvt. Butz!

It seems that he is!! I hope so…

Ha! It says in the article that there’ll be a Laternenfest (festival of lights?) in town going on at the same time as the shooting in the bar, so the parade will have to go thru the town only when the cast and crew are on a lunchbreak.

Also, I doubt this is the scene with Shosana and the dogs and the schnitzel (I’m trying to write as spoilerfree as possible), since that scene is supposedly set in Maxim, which is a Parisian landmark - that one, I suppose, they’ll have to shoot in Paris. I’d bet right now they’re shooting the scene where Shosana first meets the Nazi hero (the one I think Leo was supposed to play).

Back when casting specs first started, Leo was rumored to be playing Col. Landa, the Jew Hunter.

Yeah, I know, but I bet that when QT starts doing the interviews, we will find out that Leo, who looks like the eternal teenager, was ment to play the dashing German hero, private Zoller, and not the vicious yet mature and reasonable Jew Hunter, who is more of a Klaus Kinski type of person.

I agree…

me too, but I thing the best paper he can do in this movie is no one

haha great.

hm are these guys no wearing those swastika thingies around their arm? …

btw, ye i mean i guess quentin wants to kinda hit the zeitgeist u know, and right now teengagers and older (14-30) are kinda dominitating the market. i mean as u can see, most of the movies that are coming out focus on those ages, like summer blockbusters, so hes casting these younger people. like the bastards and all.

which I see as a huge problem for films today, and that’s also why quality has shifted and is still shifting towards the TV market.

I haven’t read the script, but I seriously doubt that Quentin is focusing much on the younger crowd. He says himself he makes movies for himself, and he is a mature pop culture artist. I think he is less aiming to hit the zeitgeist, he’s rather MAKING zeitgeist.
