^The Blu will pack more extras (No surprise)

Curious if the R1 releases will be the same. (And that’s a perfectly badass steelbook cover up there)

Sounds and looks goodie.

Awesome steelbook case.

Extras don’t seem to be much apart from Deleted and Alternate Scenes and the roundtable discussion.

EDIT: I’m fed up with DVDs getting duped because of Blu-Ray now! I just built an entire collection of DVDs, I’m not switching to Blu-Ray any time soon. That’s the Blu specs with limited edition packaging.

Here’s all the standard DVD will have:

Extended & Alternated Scenes

Nation’s Pride Featurette

Trailers
Awesome steelbook case.
It’s not a steelbook, unfortunately, it’s a slip case.

Look what I’ve got…

SWEET! I wanna sleep with it. ;D

You’ll have to get through me first…

That came out wrong.

PS: Congrats on the Modship.

That’s looks bloody beautiful, even sexier than a steelbook. Too bad I’m not in the Blu-ray universe and have to opt for the region 1 two-disc with the WORST packaging ever in order to get all the extras. I’d nearly buy that Blu-ray set instead just because…even though I have no Blu player. >:(

wow, I didn’t know the UK Limited Edition has all that cool shit. Good thing I pre-ordered mine already.

It is mighty sexy. When I saw those pictures, I became flush and short of breath.

And ta, mate.

does the DVD edition come with all these extra shenanigans, too?

OK, as I explained to Seb earlier, even though I got the Blu Ray 3 days before release, I haven’t actually watched it properly yet as a) I don’t really have time b) I’m only going to watch it when I’m REALLY in the mood for it. I’m doing a Masters degree, so I have a shit load of work on, especially this coming week where I have exams and stuff. So I KNOW I’ll need something to take me away from all the stress - which is where Inglourious Basterds comes in

That being said, I did watch a few different things on the Blu Ray today. I watched an extended scene, which wasn’t really all that. I watched most of the roundtable discussion between Tarantino, Pitt and Mitchell. Something intresting from that - I didn’t know that the “Bonjourno” thing, the tone of it, was Pitt’s idea. I personally found that one of the funniest scenes I’ve ever seen, I laughed out so hard in the cinema, it was so random, so perfect. QT saw it differently, but Pitt killed it in the reading so it was kept that way.

The film itself looks awesome. It’s just what you’d expect from high definition. I’m watching it on a 40" Full HD TV, with a kickass Surround System that boasts HDMI inputs and output, so it supports the latest HD audio formats. As a result, I’m getting some decent sound and picture quality :stuck_out_tongue:

go f yourself ify :stuck_out_tongue: w#r

You can around to mine if you want. Bring your friend QT, too.

Please help me find editions I am still missing at

and use Amazon links there if you can, thank you

Got mine yesterday. Not the blu-ray, just the DVD. Watched everything on it. I was disappointed there were no deleted scenes on it, just extended scenes. I know they shot Donny’s scenes in Boston, and I was hoping it would be there, but it wasn’t. Oh well, I love this movie so much.

I know. :frowning: But maybe they’re saving it for the 10-Year-Anniversary Edition DVD. Or something equally as pointless. BUT, it did come with a digital copy, so you can just stick it in your computer and load it straight to itunes or WMP. I thought that was nifty.

Might be a little too late on this, but a reminder for Americans that Best Buy’s 2-Disc copy comes with an extra disc (Said to be a 70-minute extra interview with QT)

I’ll pick this up this weekend after I get paid…But it’s gonna have to go under the tree til the 25th. :-</E>

don’t mean to complain but the DVD special features suck. No commentary no good features - nothing!

Oh well, at least I can watch the movie any time now.
