Something is bugging me - whilst having a read of Tarantino’s interview in Sight and Sound this morning, he said that Chapter 2 of IB is more like a Spaghetti Western.
I kind of agree with this but personally I thought the violence and black comedy within it reminded me of a 70’s exploitation movie…
What do you all think?

Chapter 1 is the spaghetti western. Chapter 2 is like you said a little blaxploitation but also man on a mission. That’s not saying there’s no spaghetti western in chapter 2. take the entrance of that german soldier, for instance and also the dramatic and drawn out part introducing the bear jew from the dark tunnel.
