Who Is Stuntman Mike?

he is the man formally known as Hooper.

Stuntman Mike seems to target semi famous girls, is he jealous? Perhaps his anger comes from his scar? Where did he get it? Did some slut give it to him thus ending his stuntman career? Perhaps his face was not the only part of his body to recieve the blade treatment.

i think the scar was supposed to be like a stunt gone wrong.

I think he is kind of a has-been stuntman who’s career was cut short by a horrible accident which gave him his scar which somehow had something to do with some trauma of him so that’s why he targets objectives he perceives as weaker to show himself he is capable of being a stuntman to feel himself kind of relieved and that’s also why he tracks zoe, because its kind of like he wants to show he’s for real “hey ladies i’m a real stuntman, watch as i fucking send that bitch flying” well thats what i think

I think Stunt Man Mike’s anger comes from two places.

First, he can’t get it up. He gets his sexual gratification fom killing chicks. Second, maybe he was never really that great of a stunt man. Maybe he was the pepsi one of stunt men. He could never really do a stunt well which resulted in his peers having absolutely no respect for him. Also, he’s a big fat whiny pussy. He mot likely received the scar in a stunt accident, was traumatized, and never hired to do stunts again.

Or maybe he’s not a stunt man at all. He could just be a coward who admires “real” stunt people so he created this whole alter ego to feel better about himself! >:D

The rumor is mike got the scar when he fell off a hood on the set of TJ Hooker.

where did you get that scar eatin pussy.

^ “How I’ma goin’ to get a scar like dis eatin’ p*ssy?”!

Nice Scarface Reference!

Edited for tv: “Where you get that scar from eating a pineapple?”

^ LOL! I watched it on TV before. Funny!

But I got this $60-$70 Edition dvd! I forgot how much it cost! It was like a fake Gator skinned box with “SCARFACE” on it, and the movie inside, with the ol’ Scarface that was made in the 20’s or 30’s! Plus Movie Card things! Oh and a “TM” money clip!

Where do you think Stuntman Mike really came from? What do you think his backstory is? What made him a psycho? Use your imaginations!

I don’t think Stuntman Mike is even an actual Stuntman. I think his career aspirations did lie in the stunt business, but he never made it due to whatever reason. My guess is, that he couldn’t hack it. He wasn’t good enough and nobody wanted to hire him. So he always felt resentment for that. He didn’t want to admit failure so he pretended to himself and to everyone else that he was a stuntman. He used examples of films/tv shows that nobody probably even saw as evidence that he was the stuntman in them.

Warren: Well techincally, I don’t know he’s ever done anything for sure. He shows me an old episode of “High Chaparral”, a guy falls off a horse, he says it’s him…(laughs)

Stuntman Mike: Do you know the show the Virginian? Yeah well there’s another actor on that show Gary Clarke and I looked like him a bit, obviously before I cut myself shaving.

He knows that those girls haven’t seen the Virginian, so he uses that example to try and convince them that he was in it. Nobody is going to bother looking it up. So it works.

Stuntman Mike: Anyway, I did a lot of Virginians doubling Gary Clarke, then that show turned into “The Men of Shilo” and they brought on Lee Majors, and I doubled him. From that point on, I specialised mostly in car stunts - did damn near the whole third season of vegas. I was Robert Ulrichs driving double. And then Bob did another show, “Gavilan” and he brought me with him on that. Till… and after that… Do you know any of these shows or people I’m talking about?

Everyone: No

He uses that monologue to make his argument stronger. It sounds like he knows what he’s talking about. Of course, even more so if you yourself don’t have any idea what he’s talking about. After they say they don’t know what he’s talking about, he makes a face as if he’s disappointed but it almost turns into a full blown smile so he turns away and you can’t see his face so he can become straight faced again. He knows it’s worked. The “specialising in car stunts” bit is to explain the reason for his car. It’s a cover up. He has this backstory to cover up for his sick sexual fetish.

Pam: So how exactly does one become a stuntman, Stuntman Mike?

Stuntman Mike: Well in Hollywood, anybody fool in enough to throw themself down a flight of stairs, can usually find somebody to pay ya for it. But really I got in the business the way most people get into the stunt business.

Pam: How’s that?

Stuntman Mike: My brother got me in it (sighs)

Pam: Who’s your brother?

Stuntman Mike: Stuntman Bob

He uses the argument of his brother getting him into the business. He doesn’t go into a lot of detail at all because he doesn’t really know how it works given his unsuccessful attempt at it. So he uses another argument that nobody will doubt or bother to research, he claims his brother got him into it. He says those lines like he rehearsed them. He know’s it’s worked, he’s convinced them.

It’s pretty sad really. He’s a loser and he knows it. He just goes around acting tough, even going so far as to do a John Wayne impression to sort of reinforce his tough nature. But in reality, he’s a little bitch. He picks on the first group of girls because they’re weak and he knows he will win. The reasoning behind the second group of girls is because he is jealous of them. They made it in hollywood, and he didn’t. They are in this way superior to him. Two of them are successful stuntwomen, and he doesn’t like it. So he feels he needs to exact “revenge” by killing them with the very instrument the girls specialised in - the stunt car.

Obviously, unlucky for him, he got more than he bargained for. The girls reinforce their superiority over him yet again, but this time by beating him at his own game. It’s like the ultimate ownage. He was unsuccessful at becoming a stuntman, and unsuccessful trying to prove he’s better than them. That’s because he’s a pathetic bitch, hence the crying and screaming. He got what he deserved.

Stuntman Mike made me think of J.G. Ballard’s novel “Crash.”

wow, i like your analysis, Ify. interesting.

While watching the movie at one point I thought "Zöe is a big number in the stunt business, Mike was a big number in the stunt buisness, aren’t those two maybe supposed to know each other, if only from pictures?"

so at one point i was halfway expecting Zöe to shout at Mike who is crashing into their car: “Hey, I KNOW YOU!!”
