more tips for q.t. on making inglorious as good as it can be:
6. harvey keitel! the energy he brought to reservoir dogs was immense. and he contributed his magic to pulp fiction AND to from dusk till dawn (another perfect tarantino picture). keitel makes tarantino movies better, he helps make a tarantino movie a tarantino film. get the man in inglorious. somewhere. anywhere! keitel as the fuehrer maybe?
7. no voice-overs. it’s a filmmaker’s crutch and a movie should be able to hold its own without voice-overs. . .
8. more scenes like the famous sequence in reservoir where mr. blonde tortures marvin the cop. it’s that kind of shocking material that creates the buzz. that’s the kind of stuff quentin is known for. as well as his genius dialogue. . .
i always thought Quentin Tarantino makes a movie a Quentin Tarantino movie… but you probably know better
