Re: Cool Kill Bill fan video

Hi! I1ve just check the video and it's really good. Great work. Personally, I love how you've kept everything the same as it was in the movie. Thanks for sharing Well, I did not make it. As much as I love Kill Bill i would not make a fan film, but instead something out of my mind. I just po...

It can't be some happy place, because there's a reason Seth won't let Kate join him. If it was some fantasy land, then he would have happily taken this pretty orphaned, traumatised chick with him. It's only out of kindness that he refuses her passage with him. After all, he's a bastard, not a fucki...

Death Proof & Kung-Fu movies

We all know hoe Quentin payed tribute to Kung-Fu movies in his film Kill Bill but i just realized that there is a little homage in Death Proof as well. Just when the girls has defeted Stuntman Mike, the film ends with "The End" and score from Dragon's Claws. Know, In Clan of the White Lotus the film...

Re: My Quentin Tarantino Film Music Collection

You know what I just got? A brand new, spanking version of Dragon's Claw without that female laughter. It's slightly longer than the version that's in the movie, a few seconds more before the fanfare heard in Death Proof. Also, I got the rare soundtrack of the animé Angel's Egg, A few tracks from so...

It may also be worth noting that in the original script it was Hirschberg, not Omar, who went with Donny and Aldo to the theatre. I know that. I think he changed that becouse the script leaked out. Levine was cool as Hirschberg, hope we get to see more og him later on. I think he changed it cos he ...

Re: Movie (& pop culture) Influences / References

The use of music from Eastern Condors is not just a music reference: In Eastern Condors the same music is played as a character runs in slowmotion, very simular to how Omar runs.

Yes he whould. If they made a prequel they should give him more space. And Andy Kagan. He was bad ass. Just look at his face then he killed that nazi in the prison.

Re: The Basterds

The entire thing with Omar was that he was just a random guy among the basterds. Quentin could have used Hirshberg or Zimmerman or Andy Kagan. That was what i liked with the movie. The random soldier got important. And Donny whould never been able to do it without help. O0 Oh, see, that's why I fel...

Omar didn't have THAT much to do with the plot. It could have been any basterd. I'd definitely put him below Wiki and Utivich. But he still did more important stuff than Wiki and Utivich. The Basterds

Ok, Aldo Rayne, Donny Donowitz and Hugo Stiglitz are the main basterds, but in what order whould we rank the other ones in terms of their importence to the plot? I whould say:
1.Omar Ulmer
2.Smithson Utivich
3.Wilhelm Wicki
4.Gerold Hirschberg
5.Michael Zimmerman
6.Andy Kagan
7.Simon Sakowitz

WAR MOUVIE

I have this idea for a spoof on Inglourious Basterds, it's called War Mouvie. It also spoofs Apocalypse Now, Eastern Condors and a few more. The Story(loosely based on real events): In the end of the 70's, Kim Jong-Il kidnapped South Korean director Shin Song-ok and took him to North Korea to make c...

Bridget shooting him is a surprise, but did they really have the option of letting Wilhelm go? Aldo was probably right that striking a deal with him was the only way to get Bridget out, but if Wilhelm was free to go, surely it would destroyed any chance for Operation Kino to succeed. 1. The aftermath of the shooting of SGT. Willi. Aldo becoming mad at Bridget for shooting Willi. Hirschberg is even about to attack Bridget for what she did.
